Boss Will Help You Keep Your Septic System Running Smoothly or Identify If You Have Any Underlining Issues
As with any large or small appliances in and around your home, septic systems or (sewage systems) require regular maintenance to keep it running smoothly and safe.
In Pennsylvania, local municipalities (for example, boroughs and townships) are responsible for making sure that private septic systems of 10,000 gallons or less meet DEP requirements.
Some municipalities also have a sewage management program to make sure property owners perform the necessary maintenance of their septic systems.
Some indicators are more obvious than others, so knowing what to look for is very important.
A visual inspection involves flushing the toilets and running the faucets for several minutes to surge the system and check for leaks or other problems. This inspection also includes a walk-through of the yard area above the septic system.
A full inspection is more thorough. We examine the inside of your septic tank to check the water level. This determines if there is a leak or if the system is overloaded.
To properly and completely identify any issues, our certified and trained inspector will use a infrared thermal imaging. This will help identify the extent of any damages.
Upon completion of your inspection you will receive documentation of everything that was was found and what measures, if any need to be taken.
Boss Property Certified Inspectors will not only alert you to larger and potentially costly problems, but it ensures your septic system is working efficiently and safely for everyone in your home or business.
