Why a Heating/AC Inspection is Worth the Cost
Why a Heating/AC Inspection is Worth the Cost
Regular maintenance is important for keeping your HVAC systems working at peak performance. Having your furnace and your AC checked on a seasonal basis is always recommended. During your annual HVAC maintenance visit, our certified licensed inspectors can spot issues and prevent the need for costly repairs.
Regular maintenance and routine inspections manage the energy efficiency of your Heating/AC Systems, providing economic savings and reduces the need for service repairs over the life expectancy of the system. Failure to maintaining your system will consume more fuel, cause mechanical deficiencies, and increase costs on your energy bills. Please note an older system will also operate less efficiently than newer and energy efficient models.
Your HVAC System helps to manage the air you breathe. Breathing in air that is contaminated or polluted is bad for your health, and your lungs may become irritated and can cause breathing issues. Any breakdown in a furnace, such as a crack in a heat exchanger, can cause carbon monoxide to be released into the air. The potential for carbon monoxide poisoning increases as the air quality worsens, endangering all living entities.
With regular inspections and maintenance, you’ll know how your system is performing, if filters need to be replaced or vents cleaned, and whether or not carbon monoxide is an issue in your breathable air.
Maintaining your system is important with or without pets. Pets add pollutants to your air. As air circulates around your home so does pet hair and dander, along with other allergens that filter in through windows, doors, and open spots in your home.
Boss will provide a detailed report explaining everything they examined and the results of that examination. The Inspectors will walk you through how your system operates and will tell you when you should clean or repair your system. Furnace filters should be changed every three months, depending on the type of filter. An AC unit might need the refrigeration line charged. Your AC might have low refrigeration levels indicating a possible leak in the system.
We will even show you how to change the filter and check for excessive collection of dirt and debris yourself.
If your system requires further maintenance or repairs, we will be able to take care of these tasks for you.
